This is a portfolio website of work I completed in my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia School of Architecture. I graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree on May 20, 2012. I am now figuring out my next steps in my architectural journey and I am excited to see what the future brings.
Design themes that interest me include: SCALE: the relation of the body to a personal versus a communal space | FABRICATION: from material research to the process of building art installations, I am interested how fabrication plays an integral role in design rather than designing without the final feel in mind | SOCIAL ACTIVISM: the architectural projects that are most interesting to me are those that serve a role in the community and provide much more than just an addition to the built environment
I am originally from Roanoke, VA (the largest city in not-so-large Southwest Virginia) and have traveled to China, Western Europe, and all of the Eastern US. I spend my free time pursuing sports that play a role in community development, messing around with photography, and going to music shows.
The best way to contact me would be email firstname.lastname@example.org but here are some other options as well as more portfolio materials:
